When coming second is OK

Whatever the draw brings, we cannot be frustrated with last nights game. Arsene made the brave and correct decision to take a heavily weakened side to Greece with the job of trying to nick a result, but in truth it was just an excuse to give game time to fringe players.

There are positives to take from the game. As a learning exercise Jernade Meade had an excellent game and did his C.V. no harm at all with an assured performance at Left-back. Coquelin was combative, tenacious and stuck to his job fairly well. Chamakh did a decent job up front

  1. astute observation about Eisfeld; the lad’s contribution was there for all to see when he came on in the Reading CC game.
