Good review WG
Fully agreed on BFG not being guilty of the second goal.
Thanks TA
I watched MoTD yesterday and was shocked at how their coverage didn’t reflect the balance of the game at all. It left me almost believing that Spurs were in it for more than they actually were. What happened to decent editing?
WG
you must have swallowed the same shit has your team because you have got The big thin German coring before Ady was sent off Arsenal took control when he went off. There is no way you would have scored 5 if we had 11l on the pitch. We won the moral victory for attacking a team with an extra man full of energy and if Bale had given Defoe a tap in it could have worked but Arsenal and Spurs have good teams missing key players but he 10 men had no chance attcking
you spuds have been talking crap for the last 26 years your all mouth 5-2 last year 5-2 this year ur getting better at mouthing off if you was that good you could have maid a come back with 10 men you lot make me sick f off
Hi WG,
Summaries of games are seldom an accurate reflection of the game, and I reckon the editors are more interested in making it look it was a tightly contested game, rather than reflect the actual balance of it.
Davspurs, you are making some valid points. The moral victory? It was definitely refreshing to see Spurs try to take the initiative, but Sandro got away with far too much before eventually he got a yellow.
My question to you: why did you not sit back in rows of four and defend your 1-0 lead, with hope to get something on the counter if needed? I thought Spurs played very naive in the first half yesterday, and it could have been more than five in the end.
Agreed though on Bale making the wrong decision when he went for goal himself instead of passing to Defoe.
Loading it at five-to! Brilliant Wiggy
I can’t buy this idea that AVB was somehow brave, daring or inspired to go three at the back after the break.
He had NO choice.
His team’s tactical organisation was so piss poor after going down to 10 men that they shipped three goals in 20 minutes. It was a desperate measure by a desperate man, and for all his attempt to spin things as a great Spud performance, I can’t imagine Levy being fooled.
He’ll be gone by Christmas.
Loved the Post, WG,
I do not entirely agree about the jolly green giant not being at fault for the second Spuds goal.
He was. But so were the others. Sagna for not supporting Per, and playing Bale onside, Kozzer for being hesitant in coming to cover (sounds like we agree after all?)
and also for the midfield for being absent while on parade.
Where was Arteta? Or Jack? Or Cazzor?
They were all at fault, and that indiscipline almost had me and 60,000 others on tenterhooks, for a while.
Of course it was all part of the plan to get the Spuds hopes up, just to see them collapsing!
Thanks for the great comments guys!
Rocky, agree with you. AVB made tactical decisions based on his sides inabilty too control the midfield, so he switched to a 3-5-1 to try and regain control.

Nice one Wiggy
Cazorla is 5`2″ and he scored his goal @ 13 : 55…five to two !……..ok I made it up, mind you, I might be right with his height though !. hahaha
GLic!
Welcome sir
If only those coincidences could be true, not only was Cazorla an absolute genius, he’s a bloody phenomenon.
WG
Well done WG for helping TA out with setting up his blogsite on NN.
I recommended he ask you, but I think he had already spoken to you before hand.
