Can anyone tell me why in the name of christ does Gervinho play over Arshavin ??
Dre is better than Gervinho and Ramsey together , and I totally fail to understand the politics of this club anymore .
As I said many times in the past – Walcott , Giroud , Podolsky are great when we`re winning .
Untill we have a consistant forward , who delivers the goods every week , we will keep fighting tottencum for a fourth place , if even that .

I totally don’t understand it myself, but there must be an issue between Arsene and Arshavin. Arshavin is a miles better player, even though the left wing isn’t his preferred role he is capable of genius from there – ala Henry’s goal this time last year.
It is a shame because Arshavin, Cazorla, Wilshire and Rosicky are all top, top players and should be playing together.

Rumor has it that Arshavin is out the door also. While I do prefer him to Gervinho, they are both quite infuriating in their own right. Keep in mind, Arshavin did start brightly but has had dodgy form for a long time and even Capello dropped him from Russia. The thing about Arshavin is he has no clue when to pass; he’s very selfish and goes it alone and ruins a perfectly good attack when he has a chance to put someone in. This was certainly true during Euro 2012. The kid has ability though… with the right attitude I think he could be miles better.
Other big news: Arsenal put in a bid for Villa.

I’m not so sure its so cut and dried as that. Ramsey is a good player, although he is still not back at the dizzy heights he was pre-injury where he was almost keeping Cesc out of the team.
Still, he has it in him so we need to be patient. He isn’t a starter, so he cannot be having that much of an impact on our current results. Unfortunately he keeps getting lumped on when we are under-performing and everyone expects him to just turn it on.
Its a shame, but he is good enough to see this period through.

I think the best transfer this window for us is a new manager. Please explain how we can score 7 goals against Newcastle but totally did not show up against Southampton? It was such an appalling display. With Everton, Liverpool and you know who breathing down our neck, I think this will be the season we finally lost the 4th spot! Mind you, we have all the stars, Podolski, Walcott, Cazorla, Wilshere, Giroud, Vermalean and we still cant pull it. Surely its not the players, something else must change!

Why not play Wilshere in midfield defense, as we had Arteta and Song and play higher upfield. At the moment there is too much panic in our central defense and not enough movement in the middle defensive!

Arsenal has a good team,may be we need a new manager or he changes his tactics.
What we need is a good defensive mid, Shift Cazorla to the left/right wing, and bring Arteta in with Wilshere, then chosen DM behind.
Would happily get rid of Djourou, Squilaci, Chamakh (as we just have done) Santos, Manonne, Fabianski, maybe Gervinho. Buy in One Midfielder, a Left back, And a good back up keeper.
Yes, Ramsey was indeed very good prior to his bad injury. The issue with Arshavin is a 64 thousand dollar question and something must be wrong in the club when it fails to capitalise on his skills. He is a player who can make a difference and there are not many of those around.
As for Djourou, Squilaci and Chamakh (add Santos too) I would be pleased to see them leaving provided we add strength to the squad by new signings.
Also, since the time of Adams and Viera we have lacked a much needed ‘General’ on the field, and with so many youngsters we need someone who makes a difference when going gets tough. My suggestion is to bring in Lampard so we can get more stability.

Hi there, arsenal needs a complete face lift. To be honest Giroud has not really stepped up to what arsenal needs now. we need a husstler. We needed a physical striker as in droga-like.. I have my reservations about Walcott at the front. In physical games like Stoke and Wigan, you will never see him. I was so happy at the prospect of Ba but hes gone.Villa at 31 for 13.8 Wenger is joking and also he is so injury prone.

I think for my part that what makes default in this equipe it is that we have of the environment(middle) no powerful defensif Arteta owes(is necessary,has to) play to relailleur and not in sentinel or he(it) is far too much lung for step to say that he(it) serves has nothing!!!!!
Why not to put Wilshere in front of the defense as he(it) made him(it) with Song and to put Arteta a higher notch and that it makes finally are work of distributor or otherwise relailleur but svp a higher notch it but too much panic in our central defense which and too active view(sight) misses him(it) activity in defensif environment(middle)!!!

If Diaby were fit we would not be having this problem because a midfield of Jack, Santi, Diaby and Arteta would be superb.
Unfortunately he is rarely fit, and Arteta on his own as a DM is feeling the pace because of his age.
Yes, a new DM, while PingPong or Le Coq come thru, is essential.

Totally agree, our midfield is a much more dangerous unit with Diaby, but his body is broken. I honestly don’t think he will ever be able to put a run of 10 games together at the highest level.
We need a replacement. No players are identical, but I would like that Lucas Biglia or M’vila to add a bit of aggression in our midfield. The greatest problem we have is we aren’t stopping the opposition attacks before they get to our box. We need to tackle earlier and turn that defense into offense quickly. A combo of a very good DM and Cazorla and Wilshire would excel.
Arteta has done a real shift. He has performed above my expectations in this role, but he would be better coming on for Jack or Santi rather than slogging away as a DM.
Even Pirlo has someone around him to tackle and get the ball to him, iniesta and Xavi too. Arsenal is no different. Or at least, we shouldn’t be.

Dont cry for a new striker or DM, thats not the solution. Our players are not mentally strong. Just compare our playes to Man Utd. i think player for player we are streets ahead but Man Utd with Sir Alex at the helm has the ability to instil mental strength to his players. Remember, with an average team laet season, they only lost the title to Man City on goal difference and this year they are set to reclaim the tilte with almost the same group of players. Let’s get real, even if we were to buy Messi, he will deliver us the goals but we will still ended up trophyless. I am really convinced that we need to overhaul and it must start with a new manager. If not, sad days lie ahead for us all.

You can’t force people to be mentally strong. Our problem lies in our youth, they just dont have the experience yet. They’re not winners. Evra, Rooney, Scholes and Giggs got ManYoo through last season. Experienced winners.

I really like the look of Eisfeld too, he looks a real talent. The problem is, you can’t just throw players into the premier league, you could shatter their confidence. Eisfeld is a player for next season I think. Give him another pre-season and a carling cup run and he will be a first team player in 2014.
It’s the long game that we need to look at. We’ve tied down our best young players to build a team around. we need to keep adding quality experienced pro’s to that and we should have a great team.

We have a manager is has too much power within the club. I was at the training ground pre-season and was told that he even chose which make of chair and how many were put in reception!!!
He is continually playing players out of position.
How many times has Bendtner come on for Walcott and played on the right wing. Come on, Bendtner is a good centre forward but has rarely been given a good run of games in the middle to prove it.
Gervinho is championship at best – his decision making is sunday football on occasions.
Mr Wenger lacks a plan B. Why do we always play 4-5-1 even at home. This formation allowed Swansea to play the ball out from the back at The Emirates and made us look like the away team.
