Certainly the cross by Giggs to Valencia was made with no Arsenal player within 20 yards, I think, and altho Djourou proved conclusively that he is not a right back, I was disappointed there was no sign of Theo to back him up!
Where indeed was he? I wonder whether his frustration at Djourou’s lack of attacking nounce (his inability to run past Theo/read Theo’s passes) affected his decision as to whether he tracked Giggs back or not?
Interestingly though in the 2nd half Theo really did muck in and track back and help Yennaris…who did really, really well.
