LET him bring new talented players to boost the arsenal team.
Excellent Post, again, WG.
Made my heart race in earnest being reminded just how important the last game is.
After such an appalling start to the season and the later blips, who would have believed we would be third, and yet if we had beaten some of the ‘lower’ teams, including Norwich we would now be all smiles and happy as sandmartins!
I do worry however, because we have form, in the last couple of seasons, for ‘bottling’ it so the underlying anxiety is there!!
I do not think we ever had any intention of buying M’Vila and I doubt we will buy anyone at that sort of money, be it a forward or a ‘creative’ player.
Arsene is coming to the end of his time as Manager (couple of years?) so I just cannot see that particular leopard changing his transfer spots!
Would love it if I am wrong tho’!
Hi RA,
You are entirely correct, Arsene has always been loath to spend a lot of money if he feels he already has a similar player in his sights for less cash or he feels he has a better prospect already at the club.
I do think is all media hyperbole to start the transfer merry-go-round, but it’s news of a sort I guess

Hi Ted,
Thanks for commenting, at the time of writing the article yesterday morning it wasn’t confirmed, however I will edit the article now to be correct after the press conference.
Thanks again

WG,
I am really hopeful that Bouldy will play an important part in schooling the whole team in the art of skilful defending, especially when we have only got to hold out for a few minutes to take three points, rather than a soggy one point like last weekend!
RA,
I am completely in agreement. I think he will use his defensive experience in the current game, to really instill a bit more of the steel that he showed as a player. Bould was never a quick player, but his positioning was always very good and he was good at controlling the player around him. I think he can take Vermaelen and Koscielny and help them improve – that must be a frightening thought for opposition forwards and his work with Gibbs has already born fruit, lets hope that improvement can continue also.

Please do not refer to the weekend’s game vs. W. Brom as a cup final. Our recent record in those is poor. Just show some steel and win the match 1-0 be Arsenal for this particular game. Don’t take the piss this time.
