Arsenal are leadin MU 1-0 with 3min aet. There is a goal mouth scramble and RVP fall down on his own. The ref points to the spot. The kick is converted. Play resumes and exceeds by 2 min and MU score again.
This scenario could happen if you get a Clettenburg clone whise job is to let the red faced win all the time.
There could be other scenarios.Don’t bet on it happening ,I have lost faith inthe uys in black when they officiate games of MY with other top teams.
It shd read:Don’t bet on it not happening.I just realised if aMU score an off side goal, the ref will allow it to stand. As said there are many instances where the ref’s MU bias is very obvious. The Chelsea game is a prime example.
If fans care to check, there will be many more cases. Suffice to say with red faced winning all the time the epl be renamed:
Manchester United premierLeague.
I have always maintained in the past that Referee favouritism was more in the mind than in practice.
As time has gone on, I have modified that a bit based on the ‘evidence’ before my eyes.
Now I have come to believe that there is indeed bias, but I do not think it is intentional. The behaviour of SAF with the pressure he puts on refs, and the mad bellowing of the majority of 75,000 fans makes refs subconsciously, or otherwise, bend to the will of the majority.

This could count massively against us tomorrow!
I hope not, but we do not seem to get much luck at Old Toilet!
Interesting that we should both pick up on the Man One debate.
He has played pretty well this season when called upon, but is he a permanent No.1 even when Chezzer is fit? I don’t think so. He is what he is – an OK No.2 and that is about the strength of it!
Lol aren’t you a player short on your expected line up? count again you’re only on 10
Thanks Cezan, I forgot Ramsey..god forbid!
