It is worrying when I look at the fixture list and see Fulham coming up and I wonder what the result might be. I look at the team-sheet for Fulham and I see the likes of Dembele (my apologies, it was early when I wrote this – WG) Diarra, Bryan Ruiz, Rodallega and of course Dimitar Berbatov.
If the team starts like it did against ManYoo then we might have a problem. If we start like we did against Schalke then we won

I read “I look at the team-sheet for Fulham and I see the likes of Dembele…” and decided this is going to be another of those misinformed articles. So i stopped.
HI,
Thank you for taking the time to correct me, I meant Diarra. I will modify the post now.
I hope you return to read the rest of the article, it is worth reading if you are a fan, as I am.

If the gunners fail to win,you can bet Wenger will give all kinds of excuses. He will say Fulham have a week’s rest, etc. He should find ways and means to get the gunners fighting fit.
On the subject of injuries, why is it affecting the gunners more often than other teams.
Sad to hear that once again we are linked with cheap bargains from lower leagues when we should shop for top striker and more reinforcement at the back . Whether we win against fulham or not , I`m not even sure we will make our way into 4th place this time around .
wenger need to get a shape striker upfront
The squad against Schalke should remain unchanged with the exception of Wilshere who is ineligible and then, may be, Szczesny coming in for Mannone. We will then have no reason why we shouldn’t beat Fulham.
Most times I wonder where most fans loyalties are but if It is I who is wrong then I remind you how it felt when we became champions. I was a fan when we became invisible and I believe in no time we would get back to our wining ways. I think all we really need is an excepting 9 not just by number but by charisma.
there simply cant be any excuse not to beat a team like fulham at home. Despite the injuries its not simply about defence but about offence as well, if the attacking line up cant make at least 3 chances up front, positioning, tactics, closing down is wrong all over. I remember when arsenal were at their best they would recover the ball much sooner than today. I just cant see arsenal putting enough pressure on any team, the play is slow now that it just doesnt suit the arsenal, hopes are really high that it might change , let us see urgency, risk and spontaneousness, we have never been this boring
Hi WG,
I share your concerns that if we start out at Fulham by gifting them a goal like we did to Manure, we could be in trouble.
That said, I have all my fingers and toes crossed that we win. I don’t think I could stand the bleating and cussing that will go on if we ‘only’ draw or heaven forbid if we should lose!
Another very good Post WG and I do not know how you find the time!!
Hi RA,
I generally get up about an hour earlier in the mornings to ensure that I get time to research and then rather hastily write, poorly edit and swiftly publish. Though I’m sure its still more work than most tabloids!!
Thank you so much
Totally agree with your points, crunch match today. We have to smash them today.

Hi Wiggy
Reading this on Sunday night.
I didn’t see the game but watched the goals subsequently.
We are a bit adrift at the moment, but I truly believe we have the players to go on a really good run of games if only we can get a bit more confidence and fluidity in the team.
I would sit them down and make them watch their performances away at ‘Pool and Shitty earlier in the season, when they played with much more freedom and creativity.
If they can do that again our season will take off.
Fully agreed with that, Rocky.
They need a couple of days away to refocus again, do some team building stuff and hopefully start believing again in what they are capable off.
WG,
The result was not what we wanted on Saturday, but 1 point is better than none, altho there is a strange lethargy running throughout the team.
The points you raised in your Post certainly came back to bite us – TV’s performance was better but he is still struggling, and you raised a valid point about the defensive errors, as I am sorry to say that the GK Man One was culpable on two occasions.
They are only small mistakes but they can cost us dearly!
