Absolutely spot on, WG, re the Theo thing. A bit of loyalty would not go amiss, altho, as I am frequently on record as saying, I am a bit ipsy dipsy about whether he goes or stays to be honest, providing we replave him with a quality winger.
My concern in that respect is more that Arsene seems to be falling over backwards to get Theo to sign bt seeming to have given in on the CF demands he has made — and i am not at all sure he has the attributes for that role.
We will see.
Good that you are going to the game with TA, we should get good post match reports from the pair of you!!
Wigan have caused us plenty of problems in recent fixtures, so it’s encouraging to hear about their injury problems.
Hopefully we’ll start the same 11 as against Reading and Theo can make his case for a more central role by knocking in a goal or two.
Just as Redders has been consistent in his “ipsy dipsyness” about Theo, I have been consistent in saying I really rate him. He’s just coming in to his best years and it would be a real shame to lose him at this point.
It was good, the DW is a decent stadium and the Arsenal fans had it rocking. I was tempted to get a shout of “Shall we sing a song for you” for the Wigan fans. They are always quiet, never support their side at all – it’s wierd.
I wouldn’t pay for a season ticket and then not support my side….but we had a fantastic day, stole the points and had plenty of laughs
